Dickinson, North Dakota’s very own Roughrider Days Fair and Expo is back for 2021! In fact, 2021 marks the 50th anniversary of this rodeo.

Far from your average rodeo, Roughrider Days is a two-week, mid-summer event that combines the best rodeo events with a carnival, motor sports, a 5k walk, and a parade.

This year, the fair and expo is taking place from June 23rd until July 4th, when a major 4th of July celebration will take place.

More specifically, the 2021 Roughrider Days Fair and Expo is set to feature a demolition derby, a family fun day, a live concert, barrel racing, a youth rodeo, a kid’s night, and a patriotic fireworks display happening on July 4th at 10:00 pm.

The first five days of the fair, from June 23rd until the 27th, is when the Roughrider Days Carnival is open for all. It will have cotton candy, games, and rides, and both wristbands and individual tickets are available.

In terms of musical guests, the evening of July 2nd will see headliner Gary Allan taking the stage at 7:00 pm, with featured guest Ned LeDoux and opener Chancey Williams.

On July 3rd at 10:00am is when the fair’s annual parade begins, and it will include clowns, bands, horses, floats, and more. It takes place downtown and is free of charge to attend.

Bring your whole family down to Stark County Fairgrounds and enjoy the fun that is the Roughrider Days Fair and Expo.

Tickets for all Roughrider events are on sale now, both online and at select ticket outlets in Dickinson.
